DAY 1: DELHI – SHIMLA (350 KMS/9-10 HRS) (Overnight Journey)
Start your exciting journey to this mesmerizing “Queen of Hills”Start Shimla with us. The overnight journey will commence from Delhi, and the mode of transport will be Volvo that you’ll have to board on the stated time for a timely departure.
The best time to visit this beauty in the summertime is from March to June when the weather is quite pleasant and ideal for all the outdoor fun activities. Then for the winter season, people wanting to enjoy the snow-covered Shimla can visit anytime between October to February. It the perfect time for adventure sports enthusiasts who can go skiing and ice skating.
DAY 2: SHIMLA – LOCAL S/S – SHIMLA
After reaching Shimla, Our representative will receive you and will guide you for the journey ahead. You will reach the pre-booked hotel in Shimla, (Check-In time will be as per Hotel Policy and early check-in will be subject to availability and extra cost).
Shimla (Simla), the capital of Himachal Pradesh, also know as the hill station with rich colonial history is situated at an elevation of 2200 mts, is enclosed by the breathtaking hills which is a beautiful sight to behold. Shimla is also said to be the summer capital for the Britishers during their rule, this may also be one of the reasons that Shimla still gracefully reflects the good old colonial architecture, so the tourists can enjoy a brief heritage walk through the city. The oh-so-famous places that you can visit are:
1. The Ridge: This is basically an open street located at the Mall road. Its just the best center point for everything, be it shopping some great artifacts, with a spectacular view of the snow-laden mountains, pretty and cozy cafes by the street, bars, and many such places that can engage the tourists. The Ridge is a delight for the people visiting Shimla.
2. Mall Road: It is the most commercialized as well as a busy part of Shimla. This place truly signifies the core spirit of Shimla. Mall road is also famous for wooden furniture shops, one cannot leave without having an exquisite wooden piece/article. As the vehicles are not allowed here, it makes it all the more people-friendly and just perfect for a long stroll through the market and exploring what all the shops have to offer. The various cozy and beautiful cafes offering delicious food will get you confusing, which one to try and which one to leave for the other day.
3. Jakhu Temple: Jakhu temple is famously known for having the world’s largest Hanuman statue an is visited by several pilgrims as well. It is so huge that it’s visible from almost every part of Shimla. It is surrounded and occupied with an abundance of monkeys. It is built at an elevation of 8000 feet which makes it a masterpiece of its own. There is this saying that Lord Hanuman stopped at this particular spot to have some rest before continuing his search for the Sanjeevani Booti. Any trip to Shimla is incomplete without visiting the marvelous Jakhu Temple.
4. Shimla Christ Church: This Church is said to be the second oldest church in the whole of North India, and is an architectural marvel, to say the least for it. It still seems to be a reminder of British rule in India. It is a peaceful religious place and is also full of architecture lovers and devotees. It is a very popular tourist destination and has also been featured in several Bollywood movies like 3 Idiots, Black, etc.

DAY 3: SHIMLA – KUFRI (22 KMS/1HR) – SHIMLA
After the morning breakfast, you will head to Kufri. If snow is something that excites you, you must not end your Shimla trip without visiting Kufri, which is just 10kms away from Shimla. It’s a perfect place for enjoying some breathtaking panoramic views, trekking, temple visits, and beautiful sightseeing.
Kufri Fun World is one of the most sought after amusement parks in Kufri, It is famous for having the highest go-kart track in the world, so it’s a treat for the adventure junkies out there. Tourists can also enjoy a horse ride to the highest Mahasu peak while enjoying and witnessing the picturesque beauty of Kufri. The Himalayan Nature Park is also a big retreat for the visitors as it offers a wide collection of animals and birds which are said to be only found in Himachal Pradesh.
After indulging in the unforgettable sightseeing and some adventurous activities, you will head back to the hotel in Shimla.
DAY 4: SHIMLA – DELHI DEPARTURE
After the morning breakfast, you will be checked out from the hotel and will head to the nearest bus stand for a timely departure to Delhi through Volvo Bus Service. Your experience in the queen of hills will surely be an unforgettable one, wanting you to visit it again, sometime soon.
