Package Itinerary

DAY 01: Delhi – Haridwar (220kms / 6-7hr) Height: 310 Mts.
Meet our driver at Delhi airport /station / hotel / home and drive to Haridwar. Check into the hotel arrival in Haridwar. Evening visit Mansa Devi Temple & Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Haridwar: The holy city of Haridwar translates to “Gateway to God,” and the breathtaking city, replete with temples, is a magnet for religious pilgrims from all over the globe. Religious festivals hold even further draw, and tourists can’t helped but be compelled by the city’s aura of intense spirituality. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places of the Hindus, located on the banks of River Ganges. The sheer numbers of people gathering around Har-ki-Pairi Ghat give Haridwar a chaotic but reverent feel.

Day 2: Haridwar– Barkot (200Kms/7hrs)
Barkot via Mussoorie, enroute visit Mussoorie Lake & Kempty Fall in Mussoorie. Later drive straight to Barkot. Check into the hotel arrival in Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (38Kms/2hrs, 6 Kms/3hrs trek one side)
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Jankichatti via Syanachatti . From Jankichatti we begin our trek to Yamunotri (6 km/3 hrs) to visit the temple of Goddess Yamuna, situated on the bank of the river. You can take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs and cook rice in its water, the common rituals performed by the devotees. We return to Barkot in the evening.
Overnight stay at Barkot.
Today Sightseeing:
1. Yamunotri Temple
2. Divyashila
3. Taptkund(Hotwater spring)
4. Kharsali, Winter seat Yamunotri& Shani Temple

Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 Kms, 4 hrs)
After breakfast at 7.30 am , we will proceed to Uttarkashi – one the most beautiful view Banderpooch mountains . En-route we will stop at Lord shiva cave & Kashi Vishwanthdarshan. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Today Sightseeing:
1. Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Uttarkashi
2. Lord Shivacave

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 Kms/4hrs)
Early morning after breakfast, we proceed to Gangotri (100Kms/4 hr). On arrival take a holy deep in the River sacred The Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform poojaand then Lunch . Evening return back to Uttarkashi for overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

3. BhagirathShila

Day 6: Uttarkashi – Sitapur/Guptakashi ( 240 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs )
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Sitapur/Guptakashi. On your drive you would pass through Ganga giving way to Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project). Overnight stay in the hotel at Sitapur/Guptkashi.
Today Sightseeing:
1. Tehri Lake
2. Ardhnareshwar(Kashi Vishwanath Temple)

Day 7: Sitapur– Kedarnath (28 Kms drive- 1 hr / 21Kms Trek / 9 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Sonprayag -Gaurikund (07 kms drive-one way). On arrival Gauri kund start your journey. On arrival Kedarnath freshening up, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. In the evening return back to Sitapur. Or You can prefer to stay in Kedarnath Ji in Govt provided camps or huts or private accommodation available there. We can arrange stay in our recommended guest houses which is comfortable and near to temple.

1. Kedarnaath ji Temple
2. Bhairavnath ji Temple

Day 8: Kedarnath – Sitapur (time for local S/S.)
Early Morning after breakfast trek down to Gauri kund and further drive back to Sitapur. We have this day leisure for relax for those who have trekked Kedarnath Ji yesterday. Next day we can proceed to Shri Badrinath Ji Yatra via Chopta and Joshimath . However those are feeling better they can make small excursions to some beautiful and most famous sights like Triyugi Narayan , Kalimath surrounding. Overnight stay in Sitapur / Rampur

Day 9: Sitapur – Badrinath (214 Kms / 6-7 Hrs)
Today Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Check in to the hotel after arriving in Badrinath. After having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening and Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath –Rudraprayag (160 Kms/ 6 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Rudraprayag. On arrival check in to the hotel . Rest of the day for your leisure. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh S/S -Haridwar (165kms/5-6hr)
Morning after breakfast, drive for Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh ‘place of sages’ is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did hard penances, God appeared by the name of ” Hrishikesh ” and this area hence firth came to be known as Rishikesh. Check in Hotel. Later visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

RISHIKESH: Named after the Lord Vishnu, Rishikesh is a holy city for Hindus. Located in the foothills of the Himalaya in northern India it is also known as the yoga center of the world and is home to many world renowned ashrams. Rishikesh styles itself as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, with masses of ashrams and all kinds of yoga and meditation classes. The fast-flowing Ganges is surrounded by forested hills inside the city. Apart from temples and ashrams Rishikesh is now a popular white-water rafting centre, backpacker hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya

DAY 12: Haridwar – Delhi (220kms / 6-7hr) Height: 310 Mts.
Morning after breakfast, drive for Delhi. Dropping at Delhi airport / station / home / hotel.

Guidelines For Passengers

  1. On Tour Guest is request to carry Booking voucher , Government approved Photo ID(Driving license,Voter’s card,Passport) and passport is required for all foreigners and registration certificate in case residing in India.
  2. PAN Card will not be accepted as ID Proof.
  3. Children / Students are requested to carry 2 photo copy (xerox) of school or College Photo Identity card along with them. Also submit a copy of the same at the time of booking.
  4. Due to geographical differences, few places may not have as lavish facilities as that of developed tourist destinations. In such places, Hotels are categorized on the basis of location, services and costing and not as 3 star, 4 Star and so on. The vehicle types are limited and may not be of latest models. Also general infrastructure such as hospitals, petrol pumps, ATMs etc may also be missing. Thus, Guests are requested to be well-prepared for such destinations in advance
  5. Adventure Activities will be subject to Season/Off Season and subject to availability as well

Terms & Conditions

  1. Check in & Check out time will be according to Hotel Policy. Also, early check in and late check-out scenarios will be subject to availability.
  2. Cancellation: Cancellations need to be done at least 30 days in advance for tour FITs and 45 days in advance for groups.
  3. Any cancellation after the mentioned time frame will attract retention.
  4. Children between 6- 12 Years &Adults (Above 12 yrs.) would Cost extra according to the Company’s Policies
  5. Package can be customized as per the customer’s Requirement based on the availabilities of hotel, transport and whether condition etc.
  6. For No Shows or any un-availed service, Shivalik Holidays Trip shall not be responsible. This includes missed flights, meals, transfer or any other booked services. For alternative arrangements extra cost will be levied.
  7. Meal timings must be followed as per instructed time by the hoteliers. Packages booked with meal plans will have Fixed Menu (Buffet or Room Service).
  8. 50 % of the total package is mandatory in order to confirm the booking.
  9. Remaining 50 % of the package cost will be collected on 15 days before arrive
